The Start of Something New
It all begins with an idea.
We all have things that brings us together. Moments in life that leave such a deep and meaningful impressions that it molds us and the people we keep around us.
I like to think that we have more in common than difference and those common grounds are rooted in the things we consume throughout life. It could be a food, a movie, a song, or just about anything that has left a lasting impression. It is within that vast area of life that this podcast idea came to light. I wanted to create around the idea of the common ground and how it brings us all together. The idea is one that I felt could not be materialized alone, so joining me on this creative journey will be my friend, Frances.
We are excited to begin recording with the intention of releasing both long-form and short-form podcasts. We want to not only talk about things that uplift us in the moment but also bring along voices of the people around us that share excited for things like Star Wars, The Sopranos, and other such cultural events in pop culture.
The long-form podcasts will focus on deep diving into one subject matter. It is within those podcasts where you can expect to hear various voices as they share their stories and how that event(s) resonated within them. I aim to produce the long-form podcasts into something that the listener cannot just listen but experience via audio clips of memorable moments.
The short-form podcasts will be a chance for Frances and me to talk about things that are currently fascinating us. Expect a much more lose production environment as we focus on in the moment discussions. Hopefully, we find an audience throughout and we can add more common ground to the internet space.
